I was raised in a large family (6 kids, mom and dad, various animals) and I loved it. I was second to the oldest. My sisters call me the queen. You can read into that what you want. (I’m going to pretend it was because I was stately, kind, and beautiful.) Today I am a wife to the warm and funny Phil Box. He is a friend to everyone; and we love to travel, take pictures (well, that’s probably more my thing) and laugh. I am the mom to 3 married children and 2 adorable grandchildren. We love traditions and we have several – one is family birthday parties together where it’s not a complete party without a family selfie. Each of these kids have an incredible sense of humor and they keep me laughing with their wit and video posts on FB or texts.

 

And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Deuteronomy 6:6-7
